Troop committee meeting tonight

Committee members, assistant scout masters and parents just a quick reminder we are having a committee meeting tonight at 730 in the school.

Congrats to Daniel G, Matthew S and Julian R for completing ILST training last night at the Roundtable meeting.

Ministry Fair

Mr.Dowd speaks about Troop 327 at St.Matthias' Ministry Fair this past weekend. 

Ministry fair today

We will be at St.Matthias today from 9-2 at the ministry fair. If we could have some scouts in unifirm there to help greet people and other tasks that would be great. 

Halloween Party Cancelled

There is no meeting this week. Patrol leaders CALL everyone in you patrol to let them know. Not everyone reads our website or Facebook group. 

Camp Alpine - wilderness survival weekend

It is easy to take for granted a place you go often. See you back at Alpine in February! 

Congrats

Looks like we will be planning an Eagle Scout court of honor for Junior Assistant Scoutmaster Andrew Goh. He passed his board of review last night and we should be getting official confirmation in a few weeks. 

Our first charter

This picture is of our first charter from 1946. That marked the official formation of Troop 327, which would make the troop nearly 68 years old. Assuming we always met once a week, and took the same number of weeks off from meeting we are at about 2700 scout meetings. 

Each year we re-new our charter with our  council. 

ILST training part 1

Very proud of Matthew, Julian, and Daniel for participating in the first half of Intriduction to Leadership Skills for Troops. The three scouts joined two dozen scouts who took the course at the Pathfinder District Roundtable. 

Once they complete the course next month they will be considered fully trained and can wear a TRAINED patch on their uniform.  

Service Project postponed

Due to tomorrow's inclement weather our scheduled service project has been postponed. We will let you know when a new date has been set.

ILST training dates

The next ILST training dates are Tuesday 10/14 and 11/11 at 7:30pm at the LDS church in Woodside. 

Parents Night 9/26

What a way to kick off Troop 327's scout year. With a parents nights and over 40 merit badges earned since the end of last scout season.
